With deep thanksgiving to God and profound appreciation, we place on record our heartfelt gratitude for the faithful and devoted ministry of Rev. J. Paul Dhanasegaran, who retired from active service on 10 December 2025, after rendering nearly four decades (1985–2025) of committed service in the Church of South India, Karnataka Central Diocese.

Rev. Paul Dhanasegaran’s pastoral journey has been marked by tireless service across congregations, mission centres, and institutions of the Diocese. Over the years, he has faithfully served in the following churches and pastorates:

Christ the Saviour, Christ the King, St. Andrew’s, KGF, St. Peter’s, KGF, St. James’, KGF, St. John’s, KGF, Christhualayam, Platt Memorial Church, Krupalaya, Immanuel Church, Magadi Road, St. Matthew’s Church, Bengaluru, Eaton Memorial Church, St. Peter’s Church, Cox Town, East Parade Tamil Church, Holy Trinity Church, Holy Redeermer Church, Garavebhavepalaya, Wesley Tamil Church, Haines Road, Memorial Church, Bharatnagar, Christhu Jeeva Jyothi Alayam, Bishop Sargant Memorial Church

In every place of service, Rev. Paul exercised a ministry marked by pastoral sensitivity, disciplined leadership, and a deep commitment to the mission of the Church. Alongside church ministry, he rendered distinguished diocesan service, notably as Secretary of the Karnataka Central Diocese, and through his active involvement in various Boards and the Executive Committee. His leadership, integrity, and faithfulness have strengthened both congregations and diocesan life.

We also wish to place on record our deep appreciation to Mrs. (Please add his wife's name ) and the family, who have been silent partners in this long journey of ministry. Their prayers, sacrifices, hospitality, and active involvement in congregational life have enriched the ministry of Rev. Paul in every place he served. The Diocese gratefully acknowledges their steadfast support, patience, and shared commitment to God’s work.

As Rev. Paul Dhanasegaran enters retirement, we thank God for his faithful stewardship and enduring witness. We pray that the Lord will bless Rev. Paul and his family with good health, peace, joy, and renewed strength, and guide them into a future filled with hope, rest, and continued opportunities for meaningful service in God’s kingdom.
