Youth Peace Rally
PEACE RALLY - To honour our Martyrs 10.03.2019
"UNITY IS THE WAY TO PEACE"
Event : Peace rally.
Place : Holy Trinity Church to East parade church
Time: 3pm - 5:30pm.
The Youth Department of KCD under the Nurture and witness committee had organised "PEACE RALLY" , inviting all the churches. Around 400 people took part in this event. The event started with a praise and worship in Holy Trinity Church. Followed by a welcome speech of Rev. Christy Rajkumar.
Opening prayer by Rev. Alfred Sudharshan. A set of instructions was given by Rev. Mary Shalini.
The peace rally began at 3:20.After the rally there was a short program. Beginning with praise and worship at East Parade church , followed by address of the chief guest Brigadier HARRY SANDHU. The brigadier gave us a brief introduction of the Pulwama attack , brief history of India and Pakistan , since when did the war began between two countries, the brigadier also spoke about his experience and gave his own testimony. He was a great inspiration to all the youths. There was short intercessory prayer in six languages. The event came to end with the vote of thanks by Rev . Mary Shalini.An open task was given for the ones who are interested to write an article on peace and what are the steps to propose? the best ones will be appreciated...closing prayer by Rev.B.P.Timothy, benediction by Rev. Sampath . Last but not the least a group picture.

Christy Rajlumar Area Chairman -Bangalore Civil Area ; Rev Alfred Sudharshan- Area Chairman Bangalore City ; Rev. J. Sampath Kumar , Rev Daniel , Rev john Peter Rev. Salomi Joshua , Rev.Sahu,Rev.Dishon,Rev B.P. Timothy, who Joined this program and motivated the young people... the youngsters gathered from various churches of KCD.
