The world sight day

The world sight day is observed every year on second Thursday of October in more than 220 countries. It is observed to create importance of eye sight, donation and pledging of eyes. It is one of the five important signature projects of lions club international. In this connection the District 317E in corroboration with United mission degree college and Bishop cotton women's Christian college the event was organized on Thursday 10th of October. The walkabout was from Gandhi statue on M. G Road to United mission degree college. The students with slogans on playcards carried through for 3 kilometers. The event was flagged off by Rt. Rev Dr. P. K. Samuel Bishop KCD, Mr. P. Harishekaran IGP, Dr. Chandrashekhar Shetty vice Chancellor Adichunchanagiri university and Dr. Sujatha Director Minto hospital .
Later there was seminar at United mission degree college my Dr. Sujatha.
