The Liberating Christ
Third Sunday before Easter – March 22nd, 2020
As COVID -19 spreads globally and congregations are unable to meet in their churches, our Bishop recorded this service last night to help everyone in their Sunday worship at home.
Old Testament - Exodus 3: 1-13
Epistle - Galatians 5: 1-12
Gospel - Luke 13: 10 - 17
Liberator God, who always sees our misery and hears our cry, set us free from the yoke of slavery and infirmities. So that, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from Your love, Through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forevermore. Amen.
