Sextons Christmas Program 2018

A REPORT OF SEXTONS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM 2018

The Christmas program for the sextons of KCD was conducted on 13th December 2018. For the first time this year the sextons were invited along with their families.

The program was conducted at United Mission High school auditorium.

The program started with Breakfast at 9 am and subsequently the main program started at 10-30 am with the opening prayer by Rev Mary Shalini member of Nurture and witness committee.

The Praise and worship was more inclusive in nature this time with Rev. Alfred Sudarshan – City Area chairman. There were senior sextons and many others who also led the praise and worship by singing songs to the glory of God.

The Christ message was brought by Rt Rev Dr Prasanna Kumar Samuel the Bishop of KCD. The message was translated by Rev George Jayaprabhu

After the message all the office bearers Rev Solomon Thomas ( Vice President), Rev J Paul Dhanasekaran ( Secretary) , Franklyn James ( Treasurer) , Rev Dr Dexter S Maben ( Asst Secretary), E George Jeyaprabhu ( Associate Treasurer) greeted the audience and conveyed their best wishes

This was followed by an electrifying entertainment by Makkal Ashraya Junior and senior boys.

The Vote of Thanks was given Paul Amirtharaj – Director Laity and Professional and the closing prayer by Rev Timothy

After the program games were arranged for the sextons and their children separately by Kumar and Moses .

The program ended with Lunch for all and also the distribution of the gifts and Christmas cakes .

Rev Timothy BP the convenor was the master of Ceremony for this program 122 sextons from all KCD churches received the gifts.
