Palm Sunday Civil Rally
The Bangalore Civil Area Council conducted the Palm Sunday Rally on Sunday, 10th April 2022. Participants from various Churches in Bangalore Civil Area assembled in St. John’s Church, where the registration took place. The presbyter in-charge Rev. Navin.K.John, and Sunday School members welcomed all the participants with snacks. Praise and Worship was conducted by gathered presbyters from various churches before the procession proceeded to Goodwill Girls’ School.
In school auditorium, Banasawadi Bethel Church team, led the Praise and Worship. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinothkuar, Secretary of Karnataka Central Diocese, gave the message on the theme of the rally “Peace". This was followed by Tableau presentation from various civil area churches and judged by Rev. Dr.Vincent Vinodh kumar, Rev. Justin , Rev. Mrs. Nehemiah. This was followed by the magic show from Mr. Job, Emmanuel Church,Magadi Road. All the Presbyters were also presented with a memento. The participants were provided with refreshments and gifts sponsored by the Bishop Cotton Girls’ School.
On the 9th of April 2022 various competitions for Sunday School children were conducted in St. John's School, the prizes for which were distributed on the 10th April 2022 during the public function. We are grateful to the Principals of St. John's School , Goodwill Girls' School, Bishop Cotton Girls’ School, Cathedral School, the Presbyters-in-Charge of St. John's Church, Mrs. Neelima Philips and all the other donors without whose support the rally would not have been a success. It was gratifying to note that more than 700 persons took part in the Competitions and Rally.
