Goodwill Christian College for Women - Computer Lab Dedication
Goodwill Christian College for Women marked a significant milestone in its academic journey with the dedication of a new Computer Lab on Tuesday, 12th August 2025 at 2:00 p.m. aimed at enhancing technological resources and learning facilities for the students.
The lab featuring high performance computers with the latest Intel core i7 Processor was dedicated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar, esteemed Bishop and Chairman of the Board of Management, CSI Karnataka Central Diocese.
The programme commenced with a soulful Invocation Song “Ninna Haage Yaruntu” to invoke a sense of gratitude and thanksgiving followed by an Opening Prayer from Rev. Satish Timothy Paul, Vice-President – KCD and Vice-Chairman, Board of Management seeking God’s blessings on the programme and the new Computer Lab.
Our esteemed Bishop unveiled the Stone Tablet in the presence of the Diocesan Officers, Area Chairpersons, Conveners, Principals and Treasurers of various KCD Institutions.
Rev. R. Daniel, Member, Board of Management read from the Holy Bible setting a spiritual tone for the dedication.
Dr. Sujatha Christopher, Principal of Goodwill Christian College for Women warmly welcomed the Bishop, Officers of the Diocese, Area Chairpersons, Convener of Education Committee, Principals and Treasurers of various Institutions, esteemed Members of the Board of Management, Faculty and Students emphasizing the significance of technology in modern education.
Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar extended Greetings and encouraged students to blend faith, knowledge, and technology in their learning journey sharing his vision for integrating faith-based values with technological advancement. He also prayerfully dedicated the lab and wished the Institution, Principal, Staff and the young students to reach great pinnacles.
Dr. Abraham Ebenezer, Convener of the Education Committee, CSI Karnataka Central Diocese also addressed the gathering with his inspiring message. Thereafter the College Choir rendered a powerful worship song “Majesty, Worship His Majesty”, glorifying God after which Mr. D. Gnanadoss, Treasurer of Goodwill Christian College for Women felicitated the Bishop for his leadership, vision and dedication to the cause of education.
The Diocesan Officers, Area Chairpersons, Convenor of Education Committee were duly felicitated by the Members of Board of Management and the Staff of Goodwill Christian College for Women.
With heartfelt gratitude the Principal of Bishop Cotton Girls’ School Dr. Mrs. Lavanya Mithran and the Treasurer of Bishop Cotton Girls’ School Mr. Vinod Dasan were felicitated by the Management for their kind support towards the establishment of the Computer Lab.
Dr. Sujatha Christopher expressed her whole-hearted thanks to the distinguished Guests for their gracious presence and for all those who were instrumental in the setting up of the new Computer Lab especially Mr. D. Gnanadoss, Treasurer, Board of Management, Goodwill Christian College for Women.
The event came to a close with the closing song “Aathumavave Kartharai Thuthi” followed by a Closing Prayer from Rev. J. Christopher Samuel, Secretary, CSI Karnataka Central Diocese thanking God for the successful dedication of the Computer Lab concluding with the Benediction by the Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar.
