Free Medical Camp at KGF

Time: Saturday, May 14th - 10 am to 3 pm
Sunday, May 15th - 11 am to 3:30 pm
Place: St. Peter’s Church, Hendry’s, K.G.F
Highlights and Inauguration:
The Health Camp started with a prayer by Rev. Devasahayam. Rev. Dr. Dexter S. Maben, Vice Chairman and Administrator, addressed the assembly and introduced the Multi-Speciality Doctors and the Team members of CSI Hospital Bangalore, including the Physician, the Dentist, ENT Surgeon, the Nurses and the Management Team. Rev. Robin Marshall, Area Chairman, KGF, welcomed the Team.
The Doctors’ Consultation with free Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure tests was done.
Totally, 97 persons participated in the Free Health Camp on the 14th and the 15th.
They presented with the following complaints:
- Ophthalmic
- Orthopaedic
- Dental problems
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Skin allergies and Dermatological problems
- Hypothyroidism
- Myalgia and
- ENT problems
Doctors advised them and prescribed medicines. 46 persons were referred to CSI Hospital, Bangalore, and were highly recommended to consult specialists there. Consultation Fee would be free for their first follow-up visit.
On Sunday the 15th, we were honoured by the gracious presence of our Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Prasanna Kumar Samuel. He warmly encouraged the Team. He offered prayers and gave the blessing.
The Camp was successfully organized under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Dexter S. Maben.
