Founder’s Day

We reaffirmed our gracefulness for the cogitation and conception of setting up a place of enigmatic knowledge which we at Cathedral own and cherish today.

We celebrated the birthday of the Rev Samuel Thomas Pettigrew with a Eucharistic celebration by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar, Bishop CSI KCD. The solemn service was well attended by the Officers of the Diocese, Members of the Board of Management, Heads of Institutions, a former Principal of the Institution, well-wishers and the Cathedral family. A special melodious number of Praise and Worship to the Lord Almighty was rendered by the Cathedral choir dressed in their chorister robes.

In his sermon the Bishop urged us to emulate the qualities of the Rev S.T Pettigrew our Founding Father as he unravelled before us the nearly forgotten story behind the great man.

The memorable day ended with a sumptuous lunch.
