The foundation stone laying Ceremony of Bishop Cotton School at KGF
In the words of former president of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam , “ you have to dream before your dream can come true." The 25 years' dream of people living in KGF have come true on Sunday, 17/07/2022 at 5:00 PM at St. James Church Compound, KGF. The Bishop of KCD , Rt. Rev. Dr. Prasana Kumar Samuel laid the foundation stone for the construction of Bishop Cotton School, KGF. Many distinguished guests from Bangalore and KGF attended the ceremony. The honourable MLA of Bangarpet Constituency, Shri. S.N. Naryanaswamy was invited as Guest of honour. The Christian leader Mr. Das Chinnachavari through his humorous speech attracted the audience. The Officers of our Diocese graced the occasion through their presence. The vice-president Rev. Dr. Dexter Maben, The Secretary- Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar, The Assistant Secretary- Rev. Christopher Samuel, The Associate Treasurer- Rev. George Jayaprabhu , The Principal of BCGS, Dr. Mrs. Lavanya Mithran, The Vice President of BCBS, Rev. Paul Dhansegar, The Treasurer of BCBS, Mr. T. The CSI Churches of KGF Area Council actively participated with their Deacons, Presbyters Secretaries, Treasurers, Pastorate Committee Members & the Congregation. The wardens & he Community College staff also participated. The programme was organised under the leadership of the Area Chairperson, Rev. I. Robin Marshall along with KGF Area Council.
