City Area Youth Meeting

On the 24th of April 2022, young people from several churches belonging to the City Area Council gathered at the Hudson Memorial church for the monthly zonal meeting to reflect on the theme: “Christian young people's spirituality in a growing fundamentalist church and society.”

The city area chairperson, Rev. Paul Dhinakaran was present who also led the gathering in a Bible study. It was followed by Rev. Immanuel Nehemiah, the Youth director, who spoke about the grave realities caused by religious bigotry. He also awakened the gathering with the theme, “Jesus as the alternative way forward for young people's spirituality in a rigorous religious fascist society.” The city area youth convenors' (Ashish and Jeshwanth) tireless efforts in planning and executing the meeting was noteworthy.
