Bocentenary Celebrations of The Methodist Mission High School

The Methodist Mission High School was established in 1822 by the Wesleyan Methodist Missionaries with the motto, "Seek, Strive, Secure"

To commemorate the Bicentenary of the founding of the School, a Holy Communion Thanksgiving Service was held on December 6, 2022 at 8 am. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Prasana Kumar Samuel, Bishop in CSI-KCD, was the Celebrant and preacher.

The Service was followed by the public reception at 10.30 am with the theme, "Bringing back the Founders' Voice."

The Bishop delivered the sermon and his message with a profound sense of thanksgiving to God for His favour on the School, for the ministry of the Methodist Missionaries, which resulted in the establishment of this school for the under privileged children.

Retired HMs and teachers and staff were honoured with gratitude along with dignitaries and Chief Guests.

A Souvenir recording the 200 years was released by the Bishop. The students and teachers rendered special cultural programmes.

The school of humble beginnings is the first KCD Educational institution to celebrate its Bicentenary.
