BIBLE STUDY AND FELICITATION OF NEWLY CONSECRATED BISHOP & NEWLY APPOINTED SECRETARY & ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF KARNATAKA CENTRAL DIOCESE
The Area Chairperson and the Working Committee of the Bangalore City Area Council organised a half day Bible study program for the clergy of the Area together with the felicitation of the newly consecrated Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar and the newly appointed Secretary of the Diocuse, Rev. Christopher Samuel and Rev Theodore Williams, Assistant Secretary of the Diocese. The venue of this function is Shanthi Church Wilson Garden.
The Clergy Get together commenced with breakfast followed by Praise and Worship led by Rev Alfred Sudharshan, Rev. Sushma accompanied by the muscians of Shanthi Church.
Local Presbyter, Rev. Victor Prabhakar offered opening Prayer followed by a Bible Study on I Peter 3:5-7 by Bishop Vincent Vinod Kumar. After the Bible Study, prayers were offered in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu for the Bishop, the Officers of the Diocese, Clergy, various ministries in the Diocese and for the local murch.
This was followed by the Bishop being felicitated by the Pastorate Committee Members of the Shanthi Church. The newly appointed Officers were also honoured and felicitated.
Our special thanks to the Pastor and Pastorate Committee members of Shanthi Church for excellent physical arrangements and providing narishing meal for the participants and warm hospitality.
