CEZM School - dedication of new and renovated facilities by our Bishop

CEZM School was established by Christian Missionaries from England in the year 1900. The school was established to impart education to Muslim girls, the medium of instruction being Urdu language. In the year 1971 C.E.Z.M English Primary School was established. From the year 1993 the School started admitting boys in the Urdu medium. The School was upgraded to a High School with permission for classes up-to 10th standard from the year 2015.

This year the new School Board of Management with the support of the Bishop and Diocesan Office Bearers decided that the School needed to upgrade it’s infrastructure and fully support children from the marginalised sections of society, while providing them the best possible educational facilities. The School is grateful to the donors who came forward to support the School in this mission and the tremendous support extended by the Bishop, Office Bearer’s of the Diocese, Convener of the Education Committee and Principal’s of Bishop Cotton Boys’ School, Bishop Cotton Girls’ School and St. John’s High School.

The enhanced facilities include new seating, AV rooms, upgraded sanitary facilities, clean drinking water, upgraded overall ambiance, computer room, laboratory and basketball court. The School had a small function to dedicate the new facilities. The Bishop and Chairman Board of Management, Rt. Rev. Dr. P. K. Samuel dedicated the new facilities on 5th August 2019 and prayed for the well being of the School and it’s continued service to the marginalised in society. Rev. Paul Dhanasegaran, Secretary, Karnataka Central Diocese, Dr. A Ebenezer, Convener Education Committee, Rev. Christy Rajkumar, Area Chairman, Karnataka Central Diocese, Dr. Lavanya Mithran, Principal, Bishop Cotton Girls’ School and Mrs. Shanta Susheela, Principal, St. John’s High School were the guests of honour.

The Board of Management, Staff and Students would reiterate that:

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
