Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian College - Investiture

17th July 2019 was the most awaited ceremony for the newly elected representatives. On the morning of the Investiture Ceremony, our green campus was adorned with girls in pure white selwars with yellow and green dupattas. The day had dawned when our young and talented leaders would be bestowed with responsibilities and would don the mantle of leadership.

The ceremony started with an opening prayer. The Student Council marched to the stage through rows of prefects seated in perfect rows. After the Principal spoke about inculcating leadership qualities, badges were pinned and sashes were draped. The President and Vice President were handed the College Flag and banner respectively. Following this the class prefects were given their badges and the Principal administered the oath. The Vice Chairperson, Rev. Satyanandam Paul addressed the students and encouraged them to be good leaders.
