Archbishop Canterbury Visit

Archbishop Justin and Mrs Welby visited Bengaluru on 3rd and 4th September to interact with members of the Church of South India including the Anglican Community.

This visit started an interaction in the morning with members of the CSI community working in the Information Technology and Business Transformation sectors to have a better understanding of emerging India and its aspirations.

The Archbishop and Mrs. Welby interacted with the Women's Fellowship at Vishranthi Nilaya. This was followed by a meeting hosted at United Theological College. In the evening the Church of South India - Karnataka Central Diocese held a public reception at the Bishop Cotton Boys' School auditorium to welcome the Archbishop Justin and Mrs. Welby.

The Archbishop was the Celebrant at the Holy Communion Service held at St. Marks Cathedral on 4th September followed by the CSI Bishop's Council and a meeting with the Women's Fellowship Presidents and Office Bearers.
