Note of Gratitude on the Retirement of Rev. Shanthi Anandaraj – June 25, 2025
With profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation, as Rev. Shanthi Anandaraj retires from active ministry after 35 years of faithful service in the Church of South India, Karnataka Central Diocese, we wish her with peace, joy, and the fulfilment of every blessing she has so generously shared with others.
Since beginning her ministerial journey in 1990 at Good Shepherd Church, Rev. Shanthi Anandaraj has faithfully served in the following congregations and institutions:

- CSI Hospital, Bangalore – Chaplaincy (2002–2004, 2020–2025)

In addition to her Pastoral Ministry, Rev. Shanthi took time for study and theological growth during two significant periods, showing her dedication to continually deepen her understanding and service.
A special word of recognition must be made for her Chaplaincy Ministry at CSI Hospital, Bangalore, where she served not only as a spiritual caregiver but also as a compassionate presence among patients, staff, and families during times of great vulnerability. Her ministry in the healing setting of the hospital reflected the heart of Christ’s love and comfort in profound ways.
Rev. Shanthi’s ministry has been marked by grace, humility, steadfastness, and spiritual depth. She has touched countless lives, nurtured faith across generations, and built lasting bonds of Christian fellowship in every place she served.
As she steps into retirement, we give thanks to God for her rich contribution to the life of the Diocese and the broader church. We pray that the Lord bless her abundantly with good health, rest, joy, and new opportunities for continued witness and service in ways known to Him.
